My Blog for this week comes from a review I was sent by a client – in fact it’s not a review it was a passing comment of thanks.
“Thank you for having me! I cannot tell you how much you’ve helped me with everything, the difference you’ve made in my thought process is just bonkers. Thank you for everything.”
I met this lady in a networking meeting at the end of last year. Saw her once in a meeting, and once in a breakout room, made a connection and that was it. I started helping at the beginning of 2022 and the story unravelled.
As is so often an exceptionally successful woman – lawyer of very high standing – but due to the despicable way she has been treated in the past, questions her every move and thought process in all that she does.
We discussed the unfortunate personal relationships she has had to deal with, those tarnished by partners who had left her feeling used and lacking in confidence. Had left her feeling unworthy and untrusting in the current relationship she is in. It was necessary to work on this to enable this current relationship to survive and prosper.
After qualifying in her legal work, the next sad step was to find herself working for a narcissistic man in a legal business. This man saw her talents and sadly used and abused her workwise as much as possible. This ultimately resulted in my client leaving the company at the earliest opportunity but feeling quite at a loss as to where she should go next.
A lot of this also occurred in the middle of lockdown, and it was at this time that my client found her success workwise and she excelled so much in the work that she did.
In amongst all of this she then lost her dear nan, and this was above and beyond any of the other problems she had.
So the story behind this as to how we unravelled the feelings, we looked at the trauma, and grief caused by the loss of a dear loved one. We look to Star of Bethlehem, for the shock, Gorse for the sense of despair and despondency, Larch to rebuild her confidence to be able to achieve what she needed to do, Rock Rose for the indescribable terror she felt in making decisions with her work – her previous boss had undermined her to such a degree that the fear was huge.
The change was gradual but sure, accompanied by a monthly call to check in and sort other remedies and the constant reassurance that she would and could succeed and would continue to excel.
We used Crab Apple to help her start to feel better about herself within her relationship, we looked at Cherry Plum to enable her to control her emotions and feelings with her work and feel more in control in work situations. It also became apparent that there was also a considerable amount of anger to manage – anger at the injustice of what had happened to her, anger at the fact that her Nan had passed away during Covid. Anger at the way she had let her previous partners had treated her – we looked at Holly and Sweet Chestnut to help to clear these.
Each time we talked the anxiety reduced and the courage returned and gradually this brave and courageous soul returned. This beautiful soul was allowed to return to normal life, to blossom and move forward, she has a fabulous job, a beautiful partner, a fantastic promotion which recognises her incredible talents, and she is ready to fly high.
This journey has taken 6 months, with medication from the GP and just with talking and the help of the fabulous remedies – yes she feel amazing but I am also just blown away with the success of these fabulous little bottles that can achieve so much – thank you Dr Bach for your incredible gift to us all.
