In The third of my blogs regarding the menopausal emotional symptoms I would like to talk about the depression, anxiety and panic attacks that come into play.
Over the past two weeks we have talked about a series of emotions that can in themselves cause huge distress to the sufferer when they stand alone but then if they are added together – more often there are more than one emotional symptom at anyone time and it is the duplicity of these symptoms when joining together that can become so overwhelming.
So for the lady who is struggling to hold down a job when hit with the irrational mood swings, the hot flushes and the sleepless nights – all together can leave you feeling irritated and very often quite cross. This is turn can then create anxiety especially if the work pressure is overloaded, it can also create depression if you feel you are not succeeding and then panic attacks can also ensue.
This is why we look at providing several remedies to help with a combination of emotions to help alleviate them in times of crisis.
If you are looking for unique blends that I can provide that is fine but in turn you are able to purchase the single stock bottles off the high street or online and administer them as you feel fit. I am happy to advise either way.
There are several remedies that I would consider on these topics. The Rescue remedy is a key part to all of these – and in time of panic attack it is crucial the reviving qualities that it has will bring you back to feeling your normal self really quickly – I would personally recommend having the pastilles to hand and at home possibly the dropper bottle of Rescue Remedy if that helps too.
Impatiens is also a key remedy to enable you to hold onto your frustrations and impatience both with yourself and with others – it has a way of turning impatience into a positive and calming scenario.
Cherry Plum – for the loss of control of emotions, when you are feeling as if your emotions are running away with themselves and you need to get a check on your situation, regardless of where you are there is often a need to be in control of some of your feelings. Cherry Plum is the remedy to provide you with calm and logical responses

Rock Rose – is the remedy for the panic attacks – it is the fright and flight remedy to keep your feet firmly on the ground, it stabilises you in times of sheer panic – it will keep you in the present and enable you to cope and manage with the current events.
Mustard is for the low moments of depression but in the case of Mustard its for those who don’t expect to feel low or suffering from depression. It is important to recognise that depression can affect anyone and regardless of your circumstances and the Mustard remedy is the one to help you to accept the feeling and work through them in your own way
Gorse is the remedy for despair and despondency and when you are in the middle of your menopausal journey and there is the thought that will this feeling ever end and how will I manage these. The Gorse is the remedy that will help you find a way through, it will allow you to breath and see the end and feel free of these emotions.
